Ginger, Hayes

Ginger in Hayes had a visit from an extra-large CCB contingent this week.  Being as most of the 14 strong party had spent the day in various pubs in Bromley town centre, they coped pretty well!

Of the three Indian restaurants on Hayes’ small high street, Ginger is probably the most upmarket.  There was a lively buzzing atmosphere, which is unusual for a restaurant with such a smart and modern appearance.

For starters I had mixed hors d'oeuvres.  It was good although the samosa was quite greasy.  For main course The chicken naga and garlic chilli chicken (madras hot) were popular and had a good chilli kick to them!

Overall, Ginger was good but may struggle to compete with some other restaurants in the area.
