The A-List Curry House

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie went up in my estimation this week when it was revealed that they went on a curry blow-out to end all curry blow-outs.  The Hollywood couple visited ‘Mogul’ restaurant in Bagshot, Surrey and racked up a bill of almost £3000.

A source said: “There were five friends and two of their bodyguards there and they ordered a mountain of food and booze!  It might seem hard to believe that they ran up such a bill at a normal curry house but they are really generous and extravagant.”  The celebrity party tried a range of specials and 'some stuff which wasn't on the menu'.  When the bill finally came in, it was a whopping £2,935, including a huge £733.75 tip. 

Okay, that is an awful lot of curry but if I had their money, this would just be a normal Friday night.

 

Celebrity Haunt.  Mogul Restaurant in Bagshot, Surrey

 

Apparently Brangellina aren't the only stars to enjoy a ruby at Mogul.  Fellow A-Lister Russell Crowe regularly ate at the same restaurant when he was filming Robin Hood.  Possibly a major influence on his strange accent in the film.

Mogul’s owner, Baba Hussein said that Crowe’s favourite dish was a chicken fillet special sizzler and butter chicken, but he added that the actor stayed away from the hottest curries.  "He had mild, medium and fairly hot dishes," said Mr Hussain. "But he didn’t have any very, very hot ones".  Pfft, I knew it.  Pansy.

It turns out that Tom Cruise has been recommending this curry house to his Hollywood pals.  Perhaps the Curry Connoisseurs of Bromley should pay it a visit to see what all the fuss is about.
